About Sunshine On Water

IMG_0873

Welcome!  I am artist and Jewelry designer in Upstate New York near Lake Ontario.  I am a stay-at-home-mom who loves to create unique art and jewelry.  I love what I do and am thankful for all the support of my hand-made silver jewelry over the past 3 years.

Sunshine On Water began 3 years ago.  After vending at a few craft shows with my art,  I saw how well jewelry sold and decided I could make jewelry.  I knew if I was going to make jewelry, I was REALLY going to go for it.  That meant working with metal and making my own “charms,” earring hooks, connection pieces and all the components myself!  I started working with .925 sterling silver and loved it.  Each piece of Sunshine On Water jewelry is designed and made by me.  Since I started working with metal, I have learned a great deal about designing jewelry, as well how to survive in the world of hand-made.  I enjoy the challenge of making custom orders, if you’re interested let me know!

I believe in simple beauty, functionality and versatility. There is nothing worse than buying a beautiful piece of jewelry, then after a few hours of wearing it, you can’t wait to get it off because your skin is itching.  I strive to make jewelry that is beautiful and elegant but also comfortable…Beauty is one thing but quality is worth even more.

Last but not least… You can see and purchase my hand-made work on my etsy shop, Sunshine On Water.  I also have a Facebook page- Sunshine On Water, where you can see much more of my jewelry than is listed on etsy!

I adore the color yellow- surprised?  I love to travel to warm places, especially to the east coast of Florida, where the waves are big, the sun is warm and palm trees are abundant!

Pleasure to meet you. You live in a beautiful part of the state and are very lucky to be working at something you enjoy. I grew up on Long Island and surfed at Gilgo Beach (NOW, those were waves!) I have been in So. Florida for 42.
