Skaneateles Artisans was also a fun place to check out. This shop is tucked off of the main street on Fennell Street.

Definitely stop in to Skaneateles Artisans, they have some amazing work by very talented artists!!  The creative Cherie Carter of Rochester, NY has some of her embroidered pillows available for sale there.  Below is one of her Skaneateles Pillows…

After visiting, I decided to look into doing an art show in the Finger Lakes area…I found Art in the Park!!  Art in the Park is in Auburn, NY this coming Saturday, September 20th.  The show is run by the Finger Lakes Art Cooperative in Auburn. Auburn’s only about 7 miles west from Skaneateles on Rt. 20.

This will be my first time doing a show outside of the Rochester area but I am looking forward to it!  I know I need to expand and this one day show fit my schedule.  I am excited to share Sunshine On Water jewelry with a new crowd this Saturday.  All my jewelry is hand-crafted with sterling silver, copper and natural beads!  If you’re in the Auburn or surrounding area, stop in and check out this show, you can even do some early Christmas shopping! 🙂  There will be just over 20 art and craft vendors, all with hand-crafted work!  The show runs from 10am-5pm in the beautiful Hoopes Park on Herman Ave just off Genesee Street (Rt. 20).

Rochester Artisan Patricia Overmoyer will be at that show too, Betsy, with her wonderful photographs. I think she said her daughter, Anna, will be joining her. Have a great show!

That’s great Stefani, thanks for letting me know! Will have to report back on this event. Looks like the group running it (Finger Lakes Art Cooperative has a shop in town, I’d love to check it out sometime). Sat. looks to be a nice day, keeping fingers crossed!
