Begin something new..

Posted on Updated on

P1240473Being a stay at home mom means a lot of juice spills to wipe up, tears to dry, homework sheets to help with, walks to take and so on…Along with this trying to start a small buisness! Some may say why now, why not wait…well, I have waited! I have been home for 6 years since my daughter was born and I love every minute of it. But I also feel the need to stretch my own limits as far as learning new things now. Sometimes, such as now, I have a few minutes to myself! A year ago I thought about getting back into art again and the thought of doing a craft show popped up in my head! And so it began, a year of finding myself again amidst my crazy days of kid-filled activities!

Finding yourself! Love it! It shows, Betsy, in your beautiful creations. From a beautiful person, inside and out. Marty said this to me from a book he read: “You know you are in ‘your element’ when what you are good at and what you are passionate about come together.” You are great at artistry and you are passionate about the process and results. Living in one’s “element” is the best feeling, isn’t it????? God bless you and your talents.

So glad you like my work, I am finally happy with what I’ve been doing and feel like I have “found myself” as you said! It took a little while but I enjoy what I do & I think the process information helps other people understand the “hand-made” aspect of our work better. You can buy things everywhere now so it is the heart & soul of our work that makes it unique! Checked out your blog by the way, now to figure how to follow it since it’s on Blogger…. 🙂
